Ragapriya Competition 2019

This year’s competition took place on Nov. 2nd at the North Royalton library. The standard of the participants was high and the judges were very happy with the good quality of the items presented. They gave excellent feedback to all the participants which was very much appreciated by parents and students. The parents felt that this feedback added a lot of value to this competition.

We wish to express our thanks to the judges, Mrs. Malathy Vijay and Mr. Indiresh Maktal for their encouraging and positive input to each of the participants. We also wish to express our appreciation to all the teachers who felt it worthwhile to send their students to this competition. And huge thanks to the volunteers who made the event run smoothly. Kudos to the all the young champions who participated in this competition and to their parents who have made a commitment to this divine art form.

The individual feedback of judges to each contestant is in line with our philosophy of continuous improvement. Feedback is one of the most important ingredients to musical development. It gives each student an idea of where they are strong and what they should make sure to continue doing, and where they should focus to achieve our next stage of development. It is our sincere hope that the feedback that the children received helps them to reach the next level.
