Congratulations to all of our students on performing in our annual student recital! This year our theme was Krishna, and we had songs that covered many aspects of this theme. There were songs about Krishna’s childhood, Yeshoda, and Radha. There were several songs describing Krishna’s attributes and exploits. Finally, we presented the Bhagavad Gita, which was Krishna’s legacy and contribution to Hinduism.
The children all worked very hard to learn their songs and they all did a great job. The group songs were particularly well done.
Mr. Lakshminarayan (known as Ambi) was the chief guest for our program, and he and his wife Latha presented the awards to all the students at the end.
Thanks to everybody, particularly the parents who helped out with the program. We look forward to the upcoming year!
