Congratulations to all of our students and parents for a successful 2017 annual recital! This year’s theme was the Trinity, and each of the items presented was composed by Thyagaraja, Dikshitar, or Syama Sastri. It took place on March 12 at the Maple Heights Library. The students worked hard and all performed well. We are very proud of every one of them.
This year our graduating senior was Aarti Raghavachari. She performed three songs and gave her first attempt at a raga alapana and swara kalpana. She worked especially hard and did not memorize any of her manodharmam. She made no mistakes in talam or ragam. We are especially proud of her efforts.
